For people who use Halo Waypoint on mobile, I feel like there should be a nice app so that your chrome doesn’t always have to be open to Halo Waypoint. If this was created, what would you want on it?
There was an app; it was cool I guess but overall I don’t really see the point of it considering you can just, you know, open the website. It showed things like game stats (recent games, K/D/A, most used weapon), blog updates, and briefly had this feature for Halo Reach where you could see an entire multiplayer map live with weapon spawns and team location. Nifty but that quickly died.
If Waypoint had more functionality besides being stats, blog and a forum I would be keen. But that’s the thing, what else could you put on Waypoint? And how could you make an app which isn’t just the website at that point?
I’ve used the mobile version of this website, and it’s fairly easy to use. As stated above, it’s not a complicated website. There really isn’t much of a need to dedicate an entire app to it. The only thing I can think of right now would be to expand the HOD app to be a Waypoint App. But even then… there doesn’t seem to be a need or demand for it.
