Ok I have a 2nd gen. Ipod Touch and I go to the store to download the app which says I need to have iOS 2.4.1 in order to download this. Here is the problem Apple won’t update 2nd gen. Ipod Touch so I cannot download the Halo Waypoint App. Most other apps which are popular are still able to be downloaded on the 2nd gen. Ipod Touch.

Why do you make a App that is not available to older Ipod Touches? Seriously did you ever stop to think people might not have a 3rd or 4th gen. Ipod Touch when you created this App? I would like to know who I can contact directly about this Halo Waypoint App which I cannot download because I need like the next version on iOS on my 2nd gen. Ipod Touch which Apple doesn’t not update anymore. To me it just makes no sense at all to create a App that is not compatible to all Ipod Touches etc. Thank you for you’re help!

Because they are underpowered and can’t even run their os without lagging horribly that and they don’t support nearly as much features and api’s as devices 3gen and up due to being underpowered.

Mine is not laggy at all! It is able to run Bungie’s App, Facebook App and Twitter App! They really should create some type of Halo Waypoint App for atleast the 2nd gen. Ipod Touch! I mean really it just doesn’t make sense to me at all. You create a App that doesn’t work on certain stuff. BLAH

Apple doesn’t support 2nd generation iPod Touch past iOS 2.4.1. I’m sorry, you’ll need to buy an iPhone 4S, iPad 3 or iPod Touch 4th generation to update the app. It’s well worth the upgrade though!
