Here’s the thing. Reach had a link to the Halo Waypoint downloadable app for Xbox 360. Problem is, why on earth can’t you just have it in the game?
Reach was acceptable because it was made before Waypoint, I believe. (Not sure though.)
However, Halo 4 should have Waypoint accessable in game. Waiting for more players? Just press a few buttons and you can go into a place where videos can be streamed and stats can be seen. We shouldn’t have to go out of a Halo game just to get into a Halo app.
I agree. Although this shouldn’t be one of 343i’s greatest concerns, I would really like to see this happening in the upcoming game. It annoyed me that I couldn’t look at some new screenshots, videos, or almost anything entertaining (assuming you have no laptop, mobile, etc. at hand) while waiting to find a match.
However, I can live with it not being put in, but if some extra time remains before the deadline of the game, I would greatly appreciate throwing this feature in.
Reach was made WAAAAY after Waypoint.
I bet they might of already done placing it in the game, I don’t know. But I think it’ll be most likely what Reach was like.
As long as the app remains smooth as silk on my windows phone I am golden
Waypoint will be on the dashboard
But as far as seeing stats its unlikely
And I post on my phone 90% of the time and, waypoint runs good .
Indeed, I wish they got read of Silverlight tho…but aside for that the app is a joy on windows phones
