Halo waypoint and windows 8 wont sign in.

so i bought the game but when it says connect app to account it says error. it wont sign me in on windows 8 pc. i cant sign into halo waypoint forums on window 8 either and thats the problem. im on my windows 7 just to post this forum. what is going on?

I have a similar problem, I bought the game during the red stripe offer in the Microsoft Store, but I can’t establish a connection with my XBOX Account. I really don’t a find reason why. Need your good advise or any kind of assistance, please :cry:

Just so we understand the full issue entirely, are both of you having trouble logging into Waypoint.com and Spartan Assault?

Additionally could you both list the exact device and browser/version (if relevant)?

I too am getting this error, which reads; “To use this app, you need to sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to download it. Go to the Windows Store, select Settings, Accounts and Preferences, then sign in with the purchasing account. If this doesn’t help, uninstall and reinstall the app at the Windows Store.”

I have deleted and reinstalled, as well as making sure the application has access to my XBox account. I’ve researched as much as I could and have yet to find a solution anywhere.

I’m beginning to see a trend where admins step in, ask two questions to make it seem as they’re involved, then they’re never to be seen again. 16 hours at the front page at the top and no response. This is a horrible way to support your customer. I need a resolution or a walk through on how to have my funds returned to me. I paid for a non-working game. Don’t they have a word for that?!

Windows 8.1. Browser is the latest Internet Explorer 11, not sure how the browser is relevant here. Downloaded and installed from the In-OS Windows Store.

Because the OP stated they were also having trouble signing into Waypoint as well.

If you are unable to get the game to even start, you will need to contact Xbox support as this may be relevant to an issue with the account itself. While the issues with Halo Waypoint are something we can address here (though this does not appear to be something you’re experiencing), your issue seems to lie with the Microsoft Store or the actual Xbox account.
