So since Halo Wars2 is on its way I’ve gone back and played through the Original Halo Wars. I started thinking about the Ship AI Serina. She must have some how avoided rampancy. When you beat Halo Wars on legendary //////SPOILER\\\ at the end of the credits she says “wake up caption, something has happend” way back when I first beat the game just imagined it was just few months or years latter. But now I’m going to assume this takes part where Halo Wars2 will begin in what has been confirmed post halo5.
If Serina is in fact still in commission I’m curious of her roles. Will she be her dark humour, witty self. Or be suffering from rampancy much like Cortana during Halo4. Or has she been reached by Cortana and perhaps left to join her.
I’d like to actually see that she’s okay. And is one of the stronger AI who refuse to join Cortana much like Rowland. And that got me thinking could Serina possibly become Chiefs new AI companion depending on how Halo Wars2 concludes. Personally I’d love the two stories to merge and it seems Halo Wars2 will be what leads up to Halo 6

I think if I halo wars 2 long develops after halo wars serene then only be rampant and may die or can overcome the phase of the rampancia but if I halo wars 2 desarrlla on current events halo then you may be one Cortana or deny this under the faithful has the UNSC protocols to this serene ,

Cool theory, yet I am pretty sure that ensemble were going to create DLC for Halo Wars and that was the start of it. But that can be changed into a Halo Wars 2 start.

Serina has to either be dead/deactivated or rampant. Someone mentioned how the Halo Wars 2 takes place near or at same timeline as Halo 5 aka 30 or so years later.
Makes me wonder if she most likely is gone or something… idk

Well there’s always the possibility she joined the created I guess…

It will be interesting to see how this play out. Halo Wars wouldn’t be the same without her

Unless she isn’t a dumb AI, she should be fine. Best of my knowledge dumb AIs have no defined limit, unless her actions in Wars exceeded that of a dumb AI.
