Hey guys I never got around to playing Halo Wars, though I have been playing halo since 2002 and super active in the community. Just want to know if it’s worth buying? Maybe something I should play before Halo Wars 2 comes out.
If you are into RTS games, YES!!! I have played this game for years.
Halo wars will get you acquainted with the populous and their tactics which is fundamental for Halo Wars 2. It’s worth it, even more now with backwards compatibility.
I mean its different obviously you are going from a first person shooter to a strategy game so its really preference…BUT I loved the game just like I do with most of the series
I thoroughly enjoyed Halo Wars. Great campaign with a heaping helping of exposition to detail the timeline.
It’s more of a strategic game than a halo game but I enjoyed it. Plus it plays a huge part in the lore.
Sadly it’s also the only one I haven’t beaten on legendary😢
I never played an RTS before in my life but when I picked this up is was SO GOOD!!
It’s really good if you want to unfold more of the Halo universe, has a good story should definitely play it!

lol i have to do that ive beaten all the other campaigns on legendary
