Regardless of the studio behind the game, I haven’t played Halo Wars. So I’m wondering if I should get HW2? Whats so special about this line of games?
I mean I only bought the first one because it had “Halo” in the name and it was absolutely fantastic. I don’t play any RTS games so it was a nice change of pace and very well done. I played the Halo Wars 2 beta and feel the exact same way about it as I did the first one.
I loved the first Halo Wars, and I’m really looking forward to the continuation of the story. If you like strategy games (I’m a huge RTS fan), and like Halo, then you should be pretty happy with this. Judging from the beta, the gameplay was a lot of fun, and more complex than the first game (which is a great thing). Plus, it’s also coming out on PC, so what more could you ask for?
That being said, this game is being overseen by 343i, so I’m fully expecting it to turn out terribly. I bet they’ll do something stupid like bring in Cortana and have Serina join her.
