Halo Wars: Requiem

The hopeful squeal of our beloved Halo Wars.

The campaign portion of the game would be taking place on the Forerunner planet Requiem, after the defeat of the Didact. Around the same time frame as the Spartan ops in Halo 4 are taking place.

Now the multiplayer/skirmish playlists have three different factions you have the option of playing as. The three factions, the UNSC, the Covenant, and the forerunners, all have three different leaders.

The UNSC leaders could be:

Colonel Laskey: Since he’s in charge on the Infinity, Flying vehicles should be his specialty, The Broad Sword being His specialty unit, An orbital MAC blast as his leader special power, and the passive ability to build two buildings at once.

Dr Halsey: Since she created the spartans, her specialty should be infantry. Her specialty unit should be Upgraded Spartans that are stronger than other spartans. Her Leader power attack should be an EMP burst leaving Vehicles and aircraft temporarily Disabled but ground infantry unharmed. Her passive ability is that she can train up to 6 Spartans. (instead of 3 which is the norm.)

Master Chief or Sarah Palmer: Ground vehicles is the specialty, The Mammoth ,an upgraded elephant , is the specialty unit, and a team of 5 Spartans called fire team equipped with Spartan lasers. (not 5 separate Spartans but 1 unit) The leader ability should be napalm strike that scortches the ground for a long period of time, burning any enemy that walks through it.

Im not so sure about the Covenant or the forerunner leaders yet

Damn that would’ve been cool to have a Spartan leader. It’s too bad that in Halo Wars a Spartan (since it’s not a leader) can’t take on a Chieftain or Elite… much less a Prophet in a chair.

Covenant Leaders:

Jul’Mdama: Flying ships specialist. He can send Phantoms into battle, and have a Glassing beam as a Leader Power. Passive Ability is to produce Flying ships faster than other Covenant Leaders.

Gek: Infantry specialist. He can join his troops on the ground with a Energy weapon that can be upgraded. His specialist units are Bodyguards, who join his squad and are upgraded versions of Elite Zealots. Maximum of 5. Leader Ability is to temporarily upgrade his Health and Damage. Passive ability is to make Elites under his command slightly tougher.

Chieftain: Ground Vehicles specialist. A brute who sided with the Elites after the war, he leads a mainly motorized army into battle. His troops are normally small in number but able to fight off a larger number of warriors than themselves. Specialist units are Brute designed Wraiths. Leader Ability is to call down 5 Brute Heavy Troopers in his time of need. Passive ability is to speed up Brutes under his command.
