I don’t think a Remaster should be made. A Halo Wars 2 sounds better to me. Tell us what happened to the Spirit of Fire!
Whether it’s a Remastered Halo Wars, or a sequel, either option would be amazing for the Xbox One.
Halo Wars was so awesome; even to this day, I still play it from time to time. 
Halo Wars remastered would be good for a smaller budget. It would bring more people back from the first Halo Wars, and build an opening and greater desire for Halo Wars 2.
Now days is the day of the RTS, look at the most popular games on mobile phones. Clash of clans and many other RTS style games are huge right now.
Halo Wars Remastered then Halo Wars 2 and so on. Would be the most intelligent and cost effective route. Create a demand, have the supply, and make money.
I personally would love to work on helping create a remastered version of Halo Wars, It would be a lot of fun.
