people always dont include halo wars in the story line of halo.
even in the welcome thread at the top it dsnt include it under “games”

No it isn’t. Aside from some gameplay balancing, it’s story is 100% canon.
it is a lot more accurate than stupid reach, so i would include it as halo facts.

i was also wondering about that. iv read the book and there are many differences. which is considered the canon? im assuming the book because it was first. but then people also say that the story writers for the game and the story writers for the books are diff so the game is a canon.
It takes place BEFORE REACH and HALO.
Someone told me it takes place during in the war in Harvest I think.

It took place in 2531, six years after the war started on harvest, gameplay is non-canonical, but all units and the story our true. note Reach/CE/2/3-ODST took place in 2552 over 3-4 months. so YES, i want a 2nd RTS halo more like Supcom (Supreme Commander 1+FA+2)
