Please can we have the option of original controls on Halo Wars 2 thanks !!
at first I wanted this but they are actually very similar. just switch the scrolling fast button from the bumper to the trigger and it will feel just like home. but overall though it took a tiny bit getting used to after I switched the scroll speed button. only thing I miss is the jump to leader button. wish you could just jump to your hero unit instead of that world rally point that I don’t even know how to get rid of. also I actually really like the new grouping system, utilize that instead of the annoying double tap for all unit crap. but unfortunately now with the way leader powers are set up and how we have to upgrade them without any “on battlefield” method of upgradeing the abilities its likely they won’t ever go back completely to normal.
after playing 25H of HW1 and 16H of HW2 , i always confused and mixed when starting HW2 still lol, since HW1 controls were so nice and easy , would def like the option of it

The controls are changed to allow more technical play, take advantage! Assigning control groups is something huge for the game that simply wasn’t doable on the old control scheme. Plus, you can remap buttons if you want.
Most games from Call of Duty franchise etc all have the option of selecting the Retro controls
if it works then why fix it ??
