Halo Wars Is it the End?

Halo Wars was not the most popular halo game.
This does not mean 343 Industries should just abandon it behind the halo universe as a failure, they should make it better. Halo Wars still has dedicated fans, me being one of them. This game is legendary in the RTS field of console gaming beating all previous RTS games.
In my opinion Halo Wars has one of the best story lines and amazing graphics for its in game cut scenes, the game play is simple and easy to use, making it even better of a game. If your rushing with tanks, building up a base or searching for supplies the game still doesn’t get old or boring. Personally I have played over 350+ hours on it and I still don’t get bored of it.

Don’t let it die off 343.

REMEMBER HALO WARS

Luke Taylor Simpson.

Yes halo wars is great, if they make a sequel i think it would be very successful now that they know a bit more of what works and what doesnt. More in depth units, like an AA wraith maybe? If you had more anit-unit types it would diversify things and make it harder to counter by pumping out just one unit type. Mostly if they make a HW 2 i want them to un-nerf the wraith tank, that unit is soooo baaaaad. Only useful against infantry for the most part when its main cannon is supposed to be the most deadly attack as far as raw damage goes according to other games (besides scarabs ofc thats just a given). Just a more powerful main cannon, so it can compete a little better with scorpions (so long as you stay long range like is the wraith’s strength so it stays balanced) thats all i ask!!

Took me a while to find but

For those worried about wars death look at the best selling games right now on the console

> Kinect Adventures (18 million as pack-in game for Kinect)[28] [29]
> Call of Duty: Black Ops (12 million)[30]
> Halo 3 (8.1 million)[31]
> Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (7.481 million approximately; 6.471 million in US,[32][33][34][35] 87,374 in Japan,[36][verification needed] at least 1 million in UK)[37]
> Gears of War (5 million,[38] may include PC version)
> Gears of War 2 (5 million)[39]
> Halo: Reach (5 million worldwide)[40]
> Grand Theft Auto IV (4.356 million approximately: 3.29 million in US,[41] at least 1 million in UK,[37] 59,893 and 6,210 Platinum in Japan)[36]
> Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (4.226 million approximately: 3.04 million in US,[42] 78,000 in Canada,[43] 54,742 and 53,722 Platinum Collection/The Best in Japan,[36] at least 1 million in UK)[37]
> Fable II (3.5 million approx. worldwide)[44]
> Call of Duty: World at War (3.35 million approximately: 2.75 million in US,[41] 600,000 in UK)[45]
> Halo 3: ODST (3 million)[46]
> Gears of War 3 (3 million)[47]
> Mass Effect 2 (2 million)[48]
> Forza Motorsport 3 (2 million)[49]
> Halo Wars (1 million)[50]

Look at the bottom
It is the top selling RTS on xbox and if you look at PS3 or wii best on any home console

And wana go further
on computers only 5 rts out sell it
on the home for rts

If it were to die it would be a waste of money and seeing as Microsoft loves the green rolls They wouldn’t (also they are co owners off all of the top 30 RTS games which I thought just proved their love for them)

Th point is they should think about the gamer. Many people play Halo Wars why deprive them of a sequel when it is one RTS games you can buy.

You really need to stop showing that. I have been keeping up with games sales for years now, and those numbers are so wrong. Halo Wars sold 2.4 million copies.

I just hope Halo Wars does not die of into the back drop of the Halo universe.

I JUST WANT TO CORRECT YOU ON SOMETHING HAL0 WARS WASN’T A FAILURE IT EXCEEDED HOW MUCH MONEY THE DEVELOPERS THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO MAKE. IT’S THE BEST SELLING RTS FOR THE XBOX 360 OUT THERE, LITERALLY. ALSO ENSEMBLE STUDIOS WAS DISBANDED BUT THE MAJOR FORCE FROM THAT COMPANY WENT AND MADE ANOTHER COMPANY KNOWN AS ROBOT ENTERTAINMENT P.S. ENSEMBLE STUDIOS MADE HALO WARS. ALSO THIS ARTICLE SAYS THAT 343 IS NOT WORKING ON A SEQUEL TO HALO WARS 2 BUT THEY AREN’T RULING IT OUT AND ITS VERY LIKELY FOR ANOTHER ONE. GamesRadar+

That was only the second time I posted it?

I know, but I was just saying you need to stop posting it because it is not accurate. If you want the sales of a game, I can probably find them for you. I keep up with them. It is like a hobby for me.

Even though I prefer the FPS over the RTS, I will admit that I LOVE the Halo Wars campaign and it’s for that reason that I vote YES!
