Confirmed confirmed halo wars this month for preview program members edit I called it
Could halo wars backwards compatibility be released this months in place of the march update and we get two updates in April with the reach update ?
Could that be why they pushed it back
edit 2 : I never said 343 is working on the backwards compatibility!!!
i said they would delay the update for halowars to release
I don’t think 343 would put that much focus on backwards compatible and delay their main title. If anything, they’d delay halo wars going backwards compatible to get h5 update finished on time.

343 industries is not working on backwards compatibility at all. A Microsoft engineering team is working on backwards compatible titles. The only input 343 industries could have would be to give permission for the engineering team to release the ported title.

Do u think they wouldn’t oust back release for a game like halo wars
No don’t push back my new content for games I have already played. Backwards compatibility is nice but never should it be placed ahead of new Xbox one content.

It isn’t, there’s no statement or anything saying that Halo Wars’ BC is in any way interfering with the next content update. I’d hardly say that Halo Wars has enough of a audience to make much of a difference in any event to warrant such a separation, or period of time.
OP is just seeing this and jumping to conclusions, instead of considering legitimate reasons for it being delayed to the very early days of April.

And you refuse to admit I might be right Halo wars is a big game hunter and it’s quite possible I may be right and they pushed back halo 5s update for halo wars

I refuse to admit that you’re right because there are two different groups handling the two. It’d be a nonsensical move for them to push it back on the account of Halo Wars, the game wasn’t by any means as popular as the mainline games. It’s fun to play and all, but it’s surely not the reason.
If it were, they would have pushed back the update on the month of Halo: Reach’s BC on similar, more legitimate grounds since Cartographer’s Gift was released not long after the fact.

Yeah I doubt they even have much to do with Halo Wars being BC. That’s MS trying to make it compatible on the XB1, not 343.

Except you are not right. We know why this month’s patch is a bit late : 343i changed studios over the holidays, which pushed everything back by a bit. That’s why the February update was late as well, and why the January update was at the end of the month rather than in the middle.
Plus, as others have said, 343i has absolutely nothing to do with Halo Wars being made backwards-compatible. The fact that the next update is in April and that Halo Wars is coming out in backwards-compatibility are not connected whatsoever. At all.
