Halo Wars DE inaccessible

So, like many others I’ve seen throughout the forums (with no clear solution), I’m unable to access the Halo Wars DE edition, even though I’ve pre-odered and now own Halo Wars 2 Ult Edition. I’ve checked my email, as well as my Xbox inbox, and haven’t received anything relating to Halo Wars DE. When I look at the store page for Halo Wars DE, it states that in comes in a bundle, and when I look at it in that bundle, it simply states that I own the product, but there’s no “play” button. When I try looking through my Library, it’s nowhere to be found. I’ve looked at the Halo launcher menu app that lists all of the Halo titles, and even though I own and am able to play Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars DE has only an option to “pre-order” it, even though it says it’s released (and the store says I already own it).

Another odd thing I found, is that if I search the Windows Store for Halo Wars 2 Ult edition, I’m able to pre-order it (again). Is that normal? I was expecting it to say “you already own this product”. Or is all of this just a big glitch/mess on Microsoft’s part that we’re ganna have to wait out?

Got the exact problem. Number of posts about it here but still none the wiser to what’s going on. Would really like an answer.

I have the same issue as well. I called Microsoft, one hour the man try, than he said that they have problems with codes and they working on a solution. :frowning:

It turns out you have to wait for a code to be sent to you. It took about 6 days to receive mine. The code came from xbox live in the form of a message

Who gave you the code, your retailer or Xbox live?

The man from support. I didnt get it with mail, like i read from others.

Your best bet would be to contact Xbox Live Support via online or over the phone which ever method you have not done yet, and report your problem again to them. If those options don’t work you could try messaging a monitor here in the forums and see if they could assist you further.
