Excuse my ignorance. Saw someone else mention it. Did everything in Halo Wars. Got max rank, all the Achievements, pretty decent record, I never heard of this Council. Tried googleing it and just came up with a post of someone challenging them and one other post asking it to be updated. What the heck is it>?
I think that dude was just some egotistical 14 year old. I have not heard of such a thing and I hope it doesn’t exist.
Actually, it did exist. Up until several months ago, there was a small group of players that represented the Halo Wars community on the forums, known as the Halo Wars Council. None of them were particularly good players, but they all had a love for the game and and a desire to keep the community alive. If you look at that mega-thread called 343 Please Don’t Forget Halo Wars, it was made by CherokeeChocktaw (spellcheck), who was the “leader” of the council.
They were usually responsible for bringing requests like leaderboard resets to the right people. Although they weren’t anything official, they did focus the community pretty well back there was a community.
