Ha thx I’m just imagining how amazing the game would be because it would be made by a actually good company like Treyarch, and would get so many people to play it and unlock a whole new era to COD

Wait, so you felt the need to go to the HALO WARS 2 forums and comment how there should be an exact replica themed off of one of Halo’s rivals Call of Duty. I can’t be the only one who thinks that’s a bit outlandish. However if you desire a game like what you are describing the most related game to what you are talking about I’d have to say it’d be command and conquer. Also you say that 343 isn’t a very capable developer but in my opinion what they have done with Halo Wars 2 is AMAZING. At least better than copy pasting the same concept over and over again and just changing the title.

I agree and I’m not trying to say anything bad about Halo, personally Halo is one my my favorite game in all aspects but I also really like COD and think that a COD game based off the same concept of Halo Wars would be really fun

But wouldn’t that essentially just be a standard military RTS? There’s been a bunch of those. Command & Conquer, Company of Heroes, Rise of Nations/Empire Earth/Age of Empires in modern ages, etc. I don’t see where the “cool factor” is with a CoD version of Halo Wars. I could also just be biased because I’ve refused to spend a dime on a CoD game for the last 5 years or so. I got tired of paying $60 for the same game every year. Still though, it seems like a very uninteresting theme. If you’re gonna do a new RTS in the vein of Halo Wars, at least pick something cool. Mass Effect Wars. Fallout Wars. Something.

I’m not saying a modern day RTS, I’m saying that a RTS the consists of players,vehicles,heros from the COD storyline
If u are confused on what I’m trying to say go to your phones App Store and search Call Of Duty:Heros, its kinda what I’m trying to describe to the point of how it mixes all the different COD’s characters and vehicles into one game.

Besides… Hasn’t CoD ruined the console gaming community enough? I’d never heard so many recycled insults filter over to games like Forza, Halo or WoT till MW2 and the Black Ops series came out.

Not really. Command and Conquer is an alternate universe. Things branch off shortly after WWll ended. Plus there are lasers, rail guns (both of which we have now, just not to the extent of C&C) and aliens. Plus Tib Wars 3, probably the most popular one, picks up and ends years apart from eacg segment (starts in the 2030s jumps to 2050s)
