My roommate and I live in a four bedroom apartment, with free wifi on quite a few different networks. We both have Halo Wars installed on our xbox ones. I know how to open the classic dashboard and invite him. When I send him an invite, and he clicks join, Halo Wars thinks for a minute or two and then delivers the message: Could not join that party. Could not connect to host.
I get the same message if I try to join him. Both our copies can still get online and play matchmaking, an I can join other friends who aren’t in our apartment. We can both join and play Halo 5 together just fine. I’m at a loss as to why we can’t connect. Any words of advice?
