Halo Wars and XBL Games with Gold release?

Do you think there is a possibility that Halo Wars (1) gets a Games with Gold release with Halo Wars 2 being released in February? I think it makes perfect sense. Get people excited and somewhat acclimated with the concept of Halo Wars and they might be more inclined to purchase HW2.

It’s a decent marketing strategy, though it would likely be January or February when the did it. I’ve seen them do it with similar games The newer Tomb raider comes to mind.

Wasn’t there a remaster version of Halo Wars 1 a part of the deluxe version of Halo wars 2?

That would be cool, of course i’d DL for my fix, and not buy HW2 until the price dropped.

I guess the answer to that is yes.

Yeah i think you’re right. I think it would be great and might attract some new people to Halo Wars 2
