Sooo, HALO WARS was 20 years before the halo event, what would HALO WARS 2 be like? During the halo event when the rings were found or on different places like “HALO WARS” I’m curious because im hoping that IF “Halo Wars 2” comes out there will be new features, vehicles, upgrades, etc. and more missions. Who agrees?
There won’t be a HALO WARS 2

And is this legit?
I truly want this to be a thing. Soooooo bad.
Halo wars was a really good game but IF they make a sequel then some things could do with changing .
The maps could do with being 2 or 3 times the size
The bases could do with not being as restrictive and letting us shape it and the defences how we want ( a bit like command & conquer used to be )
A larger unit cap with more choice of units to use
A longer campaign
Apart from that halo wars 2 would be a hit with most people
Honestly, I want Halo wars 2 a ton.
As long as the team behind it puts more time into balancing units/leaders it’ll be good enough for me heh.
Small maps are good too! But some big ones would be a plus
Heck, 4v4 even but that’d require some monstrous maps.
Mostly needs balance as a top focus, the traditional rock/paper/scissors isn’t exactly accurate when most units go against the system. And they don’t have to adhere to it perfectly, just be more balanced
Like warthogs not being so useful when they are supposed to be a scout, or scorpion > so much
Or Grizzly canny being less useful vs vehicles than power turret canny and all that jazz, just needs balance focuses and Halo Wars 2 would be amazing, Halo Wars 1 was a great console RTS so hopes would be pretty high.
I always thought that since during the end of Halo Wars, since they were inside a shield world like Onyx, that time would have passed by quickly for them too. maybe when they woke up it was well past 2552 and they will be reintroduced in this next generation.

There would definitely be SOME time dilation, but nowhere near as much as it was in Glasslands. That shield world was actually IN slipspace.
I’d like it if in the sequel you weren’t restricted in where and how you could build your base. That was one of my major annoyances with the original. All players know all the base locations already so there was much less emphasis on scouting since you already knew everywhere your opponent could build. Basically make it more along the lines of Starcraft 2. Or Company of Heroes, that’s also a good RTS series.
I would love a halo wars sequel… That game was amazing.

I’m waiting for confirmation before getting hyped. This seems odd
I agree. Halo Wars was awesome.

I thought the preplanned locations worked in its favor as a console RTS. Scouting was used to know when to worry about an attack and to know who is doing what (as far as units) since army focus was the main thing to the game.
Scouting wasn’t to see where they were so much as what they were and if “where” = “near”
I agree
Halo Wars was surprisingly really fun and I hope that sometime in the future they give us a release frame for when the game is ready!
