Halo Wars 2 Xbox One/PC bugs/glitches

So far, I have found one buggy feature. I am playing through the advanced tutorial and attempting to assign control groups. It takes dozens of tries to get a control group to assign. Most of the time, with units selected, the game just shows a 0 and gray square on the pressed d-direction.

Update 1: Xbox One platform. It is impossible to assign control groups in skirmish Deathmatch. The tutorial said hold RT and press the direction you wish to assign, right? Does not work. Gray square with a 0 no matter how many units are selected. ***EDIT: I found out later that you have to hold the d-pad button to assign.

Update 2: PC platform, Blitz mode.

-Unit selection, designated area to move, and minimap clicking for designated movement remains buggy and works 50-60% of the time the first time you give orders. Possibly less. Frequently requires 3-4 re-selects and re-designations.

-Telling a Kodiak to siege in a specific spot after you summon it at your home spawn causes it to lock down at your home spawn. This is probably a bug for all siege vehicles. ****EDIT: I think this is a function of rush units perhaps, because I am using the vanguard Kodiak and it seems to lock down wherever you summon it. My mistake. Still getting familiar with the game.

Update 3: PC platform.

-I am not sure if it is a server problem, but a matchmaking search for AI rumble and standard Blitz have been stuck on loading screen and the only way to exit is closing the game.

****Edit: The Esc key does not function in game, but enabling a controller allows me to access the menu during a match with the start/menu button.

Update 4: PC Platform.

-I have been playing custom deathmatch games against AI, and for the last 3-4 games at the beginning I am unable to select anything with my mouse. I played for hours yesterday and had no problems. Deathmatch, Sentry, one AI.

-Unit selection and movement designations on map and minimap with a mouse still require multiple retries to issue an order. All maps and modes. Clicking on the minimap for movement designation almost never works while having the minimap directly over a base.

One bug I have experienced on PC that is mentioned in known issues as being looked into.

Sometimes in Blitz multiplayer a unit will completely stop responding to commands. This happened to me twice so far, once with a Ghost, and once with a Wolverine. Both times the unit was sitting on B point when it stopped responding. But I’m not sure if it did this as soon as I deployed the unit or after a period of time. The unit is selectable and can be killed but will not respond to move or attack commands or automatically attack enemy units that come within range.

I haven’t experienced this bug in singleplayer and I haven’t played the classic multiplayer modes yet so I can’t comment on that.

Xbox One: Loading an Autosave results in an infinite loading screen.

Update 5: PC.
-Blitz mode, The Proving Grounds, Duel. I had a Wolverine unit that became stuck on point C and would not move. There was smoke under the tires as if it was trying to move.
-Unit selection and movement designations still require several reissued orders and reselects in Blitz Mode.
-There are sometimes network errors that cause a booster pack to still show in your inventory even though you have none and the menu gives a network error when you try to open it. Restarting the game clears it.
-Attempted to play Blitz Mode Standard and it froze on the loading screen. This is the third or fourth time I have experienced this. The load circle still moves, however.

I had this bug my first few games on Xbox One where the unit that I’m trying to control would start driving (It was a wolverine) and it would continue in that rolling tire animation, only it wasn’t moving, and it was still in the game and taking up population space, cause the enemy brought over a scarab and it began to fire at it. It was weird, but it hasn’t happened since.

Secondly, the Blisterbacks! It doesn’t effect the game very much, in fact its pretty funny, but sometimes if you put a Blisterback into siege mode, it will continue to move slowly in one direction across the ground and than stop!
Its nothing too bad, but I thought I’d mention it!

Update 6: PC.
-Blitz Mode, The Proving Grounds. I had a marine or hellbringer unit on point B and one of the soldiers went to a designated point as the others were stuck at the left side at the base of the hill leading to A. Isabel as the leader, I think.

Update 7: PC

-Blitz: There are still units getting stuck on various points of the map from C to the center between home spawn and C.

Update 8: Xbox One
-The Halo mission, at the beginning of the mission when moving initial forces near the NPC forces, the frame rate dropped to 1 frame every 5-15 seconds. Not sure if this is a common problem. After restarting the mission, the issue was resolved. ***EDIT: The frame rate issue has happened six-9 times now (I have had to restart the mission a few times because it is difficult to manage, unlike most other missions, despite being on normal). The frame drops after the first time were at random points in the mission.

PC
-I seem to not have the option of recycling cards anymore with K+M. I assume this because there used to be a cycle button below the cards when you bring them up. This is gone now. While using a controller, I have the option.

Update 9: PC
-During Blitz mode, sometimes there is an obnoxious machine grinding noise that plays when scouting the enemy units out of unit line of sight. The most recent example is when units are walking away form the enemy HQ spawn.

-Generator’s are no longer renamed Advanced Generator when upgraded, and I think the same problem affects Supply Pads.

-Network Errors still occur after opening all Blitz packs.

-The end of the last two matches tell me I have unlocked a Blitz pack for reaching rank 20, even though I already received the pack and am a third of the way to rank 21. ***EDIT: This prompt shows at the end of every round now.

I am greatly satisfied by the fixes on unit selection errors and the non-responsive minimap problems. This makes matches significantly better to play on PC.

Update 10: PC.
-The game prompts me to update my GPU driver every time I open it now, even though I already updated the driver a couple days ago.
-Alt+tab sometimes causes the game to crash.
-The game prompts me that I unlocked a Blitz pack for reaching another rank, repeatedly.

Xbox One: Supply Pads and Generators, when upgraded, still show up as regular Supply Pads and Generators in their name. They’re not called Heavy or Advanced like they’re supposed to.

Update 11: PC.
-Initial game start up still prompts me to update my driver, even though it is up to date. This has been 4-5 days now.

Update 12: PC
-Initial game start up is now slow after new patch and I still receive a prompt to update my GPU driver, despite downloading yet another up to date driver today.

Update 13: PC
-The game still tells me my GPU diver is out of date, even thought it is up to date. Reinstalling did not help. It wants me to have driver 372 for NVIDIA GPU devices. A Prompt window bounces around on my screen at start-up.
