I play on the Xbox and I am not able to download Halo Wars. I have tried the suggestions with clearing out the partial saves and clearing the blue rays memory and I am still not able to complete the download. It stops at 20 percent and won’t continue. I am part of the preview program, I am in preview ring 3
Perhaps it is because your video format can not match to your Blu-ray Player.Would you like to try convert the video format with Blu-ray Ripper?
I am stuck at 21%, exactly at 6.90 GB ever time since the update launched. I am currently trying to download the game the last time. This time I deinstalled everthing of Halo wars 2 not only the main game. I am also a preview member in the third Ring.
Also I can update other games only Halo wars 2 wont work.
Try to installing it on the internal drive, works for me. I am already at 27%
same , I’m stuck at 9.12%. Are you a preview member? It might be because of the new update.

I experienced this as well, it refuses to install to my external hard drive but I was able to install it on the internal and now when I try to “move” the installation it fails at the same percentage (28) that it did when downloading directly to it. Very frustrating.
Same problem!
Is everyone here on the third preview ring?
glad im not alone with this

I’m on the Beta ring.
If you haven’t already, can you please submit feedback via “Report a Problem” from your console? Hold down the Xbox button on your controller and select “Report a Problem” from the menu, this will help the right folks investigate further. Note that the “Insider Hub” has to be installed in order for the “Report a Problem” option to be visible.
Also if you haven’t already, please try a hard reset of your console - hold down the Xbox button on the front of the console for at least 5 seconds, wait until it powers down, then power back on, return to “My Games & Apps” and try to install Halo Wars 2 again.
Our team is continuing to work with the Xbox folks to try and figure out what’s going on. Thanks for flagging this and we hope to get this sorted out quickly.
I’m also having the same problem. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times but every time it gets stuck at like 25 percent.
Same for me. Stuck at ~21%. Tried installing to internal drive and external drive with no luck. Power cycled XBOX and retried, no go. Uninstalled until devs release a fix.
I had this problem I tried everything when I say everything that’s an understatement but all you have to do it go to settings and reset the console to factory settings do not keep games and apps you’ll have to completely wipe your entire Xbox one …it worked for me
