So I pre-ordered Halo Wars 2 and played it when it came out Feb 2017. I bought the Ultimate edition. I then went to play the game earlier this year (2018) and the game would not start. So I uninstalled the game and tried to re-download it.
This brought the message “Installation stopped”. So I re-bought the game in June 2018 paying an extra £20 for the standard edition (so overall paid £76 for this game now) and it still wouldn’t download.
i then contacted Microsoft support and they got me restarting my console using the reset console options and clearing my MAC address and nothing has worked.
they recommended I contact the developer as it is now November 2018 and I still cannot download the game.
