does anyone think it may happen, or know of a way that this can be heard and seen?
Chances are that it’ll be only on Windows 10, I’m afraid.

that is what i am afraid of
It currently requires Win10 Anniversary to run. But there is a very very slim chance it will be ported onto steam like other Microsoft tiles have been, though with the huge success play anywhere has been I doubt that will happen.

Yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath on a Win7 version. Microsoft seems to be trying to make sure people have Win10 by keeping a flagship franchise on the newest platforms.
Gears of War 4 isn’t on Steam, so I doubt that HW2 will make it there either.
Well unless it ends up on steam

Microsoft is really pushing people to get Windows 10. That’s why Halo Forge and Gears of War 4 can only be played on Windows 10.
To be fair, even if it they put it on steam, its not liek they couldn’t just stop it from working on non-10.
A “maybe” is possible … but it’s not certain, since the DM wants to force users to switch to windows 10
I’m sorry but I don’t think it’ll happen on Windows 7
Windows 7 is outdated and no longer supported by Microsoft (unless they extended it). Windows 10 has the app store where as Windows 7 does not. Plus I believe you would haft to start halo wars 2 threw the halo app witch also requires Windows 10.

dunno what makes ya think that
Please don’t revive old topics thanks.
As for Windows 7, it is highly unlikely that Halo Wars 2 or any other Halo game is going to support Windows 7. The OS itself has been superceded by 2 major versions and mainstream support ended for SP1 back in 2015. As it stands Windows 10 is required for the game and likely because the game utilises api’s that are not present in older versions of Windows
