Halo Wars 2 What Changes could there be

Hey guys Todays discussion is what might be new in Halo Wars 2 example bigger unites and more players allowed in a lobby for like a clan or like team vs team like 4v4 or 5v5 and more characters like last time it was 6 and unlock more as you rank and make ranking systems easyer and thats what I want to know from you guys. Im new at this and give me feedback about MCC H5 and Hunt the Truth and HW2

Add a few more RTS elements.

I want a Command and Conquer style game here, and while HW1 was alright, HW2 could be amazing. Combine Star Wars: Empire at War’s space combat with CNC’s ground would be a phenomenal thing to achieve.

Halo Wars was great, I think the only thing it really needed was space battles lol

Please don’t have locked base layouts. I understand that they needed to dumb it down a little, but it’s kind of annoying to know exactly where the bases always are.

we need another unique flying unit for UNSC
We should also be able to control the Rebels and the Flood

i think you should be able to play as rebels. the units would probably be like:

Main Infantry - Rebel/Marine/Soldier/Insurgent (you get the idea, with a BR)
Anti-Infantry - Sniper Rebel/Marine/Soldier/Insurgent
Anti-Vehicle - Rocket Rebel
Main Vehicle - Modified Civilian Warthog
Main Air - Modified Civilian Falcon

I might make a whole forum post on what i think a good rebel base design would be.

would be cool in campaign or as map ‘creeps’ but not as a faction (maybe a UNSC reskin option and a covenant 'heretic reskin option)

I would love to see an expanded tech tree with

4 types of infantry
4 types of vehicles
4 types of air units
4 types of orbital units

per faction with in game customization of armaments for each that can change their unit roles (like Dawn of War series)

example for UNSC

Infantry:
marines (basic general purpose infantry)
aussault engineers (builds cover/emplacements)
Troopers (mobile infantry with jetpacks)
Spartans (shielded elite infantry)

Vehicles:
Warthog (fast light)
Mantis (medium anti air)
Scorpion (heavy anti vehicle)
Elephant (support weapons/artillery)

Air:
Hornet/Hawk (air/ground interceptors)
Pelican Gunship (transport/ground support)
Longsword/Shortsword (air/orbit fighter bombers)
Vulture Heavy Gunship (ground bombardment/missile platform)

Orbit:
Corvette (anti air/scout)
Frigate (anti armor/support ship)
Destroyer (ground bombardment/artillery)
Cruiser (armored support ship)

4 unit ‘types’ (chassis/platforms) per factory type and multiple weapon/ability/support load outs available for each would give a lot of variability and depth.

also I would love for units to “autocast” most abilities IE: rocket marines see armored or air unit and automatically use rockets) and to have multiple abilities so you need to do less micro in larger scale battles (but still can) and the focus of micro to be more position based (strategic micro vs tactical micro) rather than trying to get each individual unit to ‘act smart’ in battle.

That would be cool, but a first person gametype in halo wars 2 would be cool too.

Aleays with the stupid FPS -Yoink- requests… What don’t you people get. It’s an RTS. There are already Halo FPS’s. Play those.
