Halo wars 2 vehicles in warzone?

I was just thinking the other day and thought: how epic would that (the title) be.
To have shroud which controls like a wasp/phaeton which has a cirkel underneath it which cloaks/camos any units in the cirkel.
Or a Kodiak, or a cyclops. The possibilities are endless. Tell me what you all think

this wouldn’t be “epic” because most vehicles from HW as well as HW2 aren’t supposed to function at least somehow “balanced” in an FPS.

I don’t see how it wouldn’t. If they balance a scorpion they sure would be able to balance a cyclops or what not

The Cyclops isn’t really a vehicle… unless you consider how the bulky exoskeleton suit is operated to be a vehicle, a bit like the power armour in the Fallout series (most notably FO4) is operated like a vehicle rather than a suit of armour.

*Circle, not cirkel, nice effort though :stuck_out_tongue:

And finally, it depends on what vehicles you want adding and how they could be balanced to fit multiplayer… at the moment, vehicles are pretty damn vulnerable to, well, EVERYTHING. From the damn Marines to Spartans running out of no where and slapping a grenade on your -Yoink- in your new ONI Scorpion - unless you have environmental awareness. My opinion is that the vehicles in HW2 shouldn’t be in multiplayer.

I need the halo wars 2 brute chopper. Such a cool thing. I hope it cameos in Halo 6 as a drivable vehicle, even if just one mission.

There were probably a few left on the ring, so hopefully that can be a thing.

I would love if they could add the Cyclops and the Green machine to halo 5 or the next halo fps.

he might be russian

Sure they could fit fine

Jakckrabbits would be a step between Mongoose and Warthog, slightly more armoured then a gun goose but with only one Mahhinegun or grenade launcher rather then two for a slightly lower firepower probably a 3 or 4 req

The Cobra would be a light tank hunter vehicle, fast but not well armoured with a heavy railgun rivalling that of a scorpion. Could deploy for a firepower boost but would be vulnerable to attack in this mode and incapable of firing or moving mid transformation. Req 4-6 Item

Wolverine would be a fast but lightly armoured artillery unit capable of dealing with air units or infantry swarms, the catch being that its high explosive missiles would be ineffective vs armoured vehicles, Req 4-6 Item

The Grizzly and Colossus would just be bigger, beefier Scorpion and Mantises Req 9/10 items with unmatched firepower and durability

Vultures would be Niche air units, Req 8-10 and are basically flying tanks

Kodiaks would be indirect fire weapons you need to arch to fire, basically UNSC Wraiths

Mastadon would be great for captured the flag, it can hold 20 something marines so holding 12 spartans shouldn’tbe difficult and its auto turret ontop means it could be used as a mobile defence unit

Trooper, Armoured and Forge Warthogs would just be req variants

Cyclops would basically be a nice add on for infantry armour small enough to fit in a building sort of like a mini mantis

the wars elephant is fairly small, it could act as a mobile base with a req point for spawning vehicles, weapons and as a spawn point for allies

Exactly thanks for your input. As you can see you can get really creative with the idea of hw vehicles in normal Halo games

Why would I be?

yes

This has been the rumor mill about the final Halo 5 update, could be why they are taking long to reveal it.

A shroud or or kodiak would be neat

I could see the kodiak deploying in front of the main base for safety, and instead of arching shots you would get a map wide motion tracker to aim with. It could also show pings so other players could request artillery shots, though reloading would be really slow. Kodiaks could also be boarded like tanks.

Yeah would be interesting

Imagine if someone knew all the spawns and just kept bombing them. Would be horrible to play against

I would totally dig that…totally

Yeah but it would take like ten seconds to reload so you’d have time to get out and find it. Especially since you could spawn at any base.

Plus it wouldn’t be the entire map. Let’s say noctus you could set up at home base but you could only reach temple. You’d be able to -Yoink- with temple but the enemy team would be save in their garage. Plus remember Kodiaks are stationary. So really easy to counter if not set up in a stealthy spot

if you’ve ever driven the mortar truck in battlefield 4, then you’ll know that the Kodiak would never be viable. now a falcon would be great.
