Hi, I pre ordered Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition because why not get some extra goodies. But I got on today and was looking around the store for fun and saw that if you buy Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition AFTER the game released, you get a copy of Halo Wars Definitive Edition. Now, I feel a little cheated. Shouldn’t the people who pre ordered the ultimate edition get Halo Wars Definitive too? I’d love to hear thoughts on the matter, and I’d really like to see if we can get 343i to change this.
Everyone who ordered the Ultimate Edition gets a copy of Halo Wars Definitive Edition, doesn’t matter when you placed the order. You should be able to play straight away now as it seems the update to remove the early access label has been removed

Oh, okay. I wonder if my console is somehow behind then? Maybe it’ll take a day or two. HW definitive edition doesn’t show up in my ready to install area.
Microsoft just sent me a code for HW definitive edition!
I’m having a similar problem. I ordered Halo Wars 2 ultimate edition but when I try to get the definitive edition it says only part of a bundle. I really wanted to play the original before I started the new one. Don’t know why it didn’t install both. The season pass is in queue but no definitive edition.

So I pre-ordered a physical copy of Halo Wars 2 The ultimate edition and they gave me a code to get the season pass and the definitive edition. I typed it in on my Xbox One but when I tried to access it on my laptop it only works for the definitive edition. I remember them saying you could play on both windows 10 and xbox one if you ordered the ultimate edition but I didn’t get Halo Wars 2 for my laptop. I checked and made sure that the pc and xbox were on the same account but its still not working any ideas ? It just acts like I need to purchase the game again. Any help would be appreciated.
