So I went to the microsoft store on my windows 10 pc to reinstall halo wars 2 today and I get a message that says its not available.
So then i go to the xbox app and it tells me to go to the windows store which leads to the first issue
So then I look at the standard and complete editions and it tells me to buy it or play on the xbox. The xbox version is working fine right now I can go and play it but I want to reinstall it on my pc.
So then I look through my library and its not there. All my other 100 or so games are but not halo wars 2.
So then I go look at my purchased history and it shows where I paid the $87.99 on release date and a few days later redeemed my code for halo wars definitive edition. If I go look up that verison i can install it but not halo wars 2.
No where on my account does it give me an option to install it and there is no download button or arrow besides any of those places that I looked for it.
I clicked under my purchase where it says this bundle includes and clicked on just halo wars 2 and it gives me the store page for it that says Jump to this bundle and when I click on those it takes me to square one where it says its not available.
Did I miss something or am I just not able to play on pc anymore…
Any advice on how to get the game to install? About to just go torrent it and hope for the best…
Funny I called microsoft support about this and was “escalated” and was told I would recieve a call monday about it. It is now Wednesday and still nothing. Nothing from microsoft, no call no email and NOTHING from the support team here. Fantastic.

Microsoft’s Support line and 343 are 2 separate entities. I imagine MS support escalated it internally within their own team, they would be the ones who would be schedules to call you back, not 343. For license issues and issues with downloading from the store, it would be MS Support you would want to be in contact with
