Halo Wars 2 story should have been Infinites

Been playing Halo Wars 2 story lately and oh my god Atriox is an amazing villain, his origin alone is bone chilling and gives me that feeling of awesomeness when Arbiter turned against the prophets. It sucks that such an awesome villain and even characters like the spartans Jerome and Alice are in my opinion wasted on this RTS spin off. Sure its a good game but just like the novels it is side content from the main games, Atriox playing such a huge role in Infinite despite already being dead just feels so wasted since Escharum just feels like a cheap copy.

Kind of sad to say the Wars 2 had a better story than Infinite, since Wars 2 was pretty bland too, but yeah agreed.

I feel like in halo wars 1 and 2 you never really know what will happen. You could ace the mission and everything goes wrong story wise. In main master chief games you never feel like he will fail.
