Halo Wars 2 "Starting Download" on Microsoft Store

So as soon as I click the install button on either the Halo Wars 2 or the Halo Wars 2 Complete edition I am met with what I thought would be a good sign to see “Starting Download” but instead it never progresses from that message and I’m left waiting forever. Has anyone experienced this before?

I feel like this is an issue with the Windows store, but there has to be a way to solve it.

Are you encountering this issue when trying to download on Windows 10 or Xbox One? Also, are you able to download anything else from the Store?

I had a similar issue: it seemed I could not download the game because, after about 20-30 seconds the download ‘stopped’ ( the speed decreased from the 30 mb/s to 1 kb/s and then it stopped at all ). I downloaded the Halo app and started the download on the microsoft store: it seemed it was not downlodig, but in the app it was. I think it is that the download is shown only the halo app.
