TBH, I don’t love the app, but it’s free and it allows you to listen to the whole soundtrack, so can’t see the harm… I will post when the soundtrack is available on Spotify and Amazon, etc. I would expect that on Friday.

Thanks! Hopefully this is free on Amazon Prime Music later too. I’ve listened to the H5 soundtrack there a ton.

Likewise. I went full Unlimited for Amazon, but I was thrilled when H5 soundtrack was on Prime the day it came out.

On iTunes there are more tracks, sorry if I don’t know if there’s a way to expand it but this is only half the album.

Excellent music. One of the track names caught my immediate attention “antediluvian” sound familiar? It means “before the flood” “pertaining to a flood” I hope the title of the track isn’t a misleading name!

I really like this soundtrack.

Barren, Empathy, It’s Done, Amethyst and the Beta menu theme are good.

I don’t like at all other tracks, it’ doesn’t sound Halo (Halo Wars 1 soundtrack was very Halo) and it’s very generic in my opinion.

However, according to the preview on Amazon, CD2 sounds a lot better and seems to have a lot of nice tracks which sound Halo (Cratered (my favorite one), Tactical Error, Scorched Earth, Simulacra, Gambit (Action Figure Hands remix or Money of Meteor remix ?), Strategic Feint, Collateral Harm, Calculated Risk, Fog of War (it remembers me Halo Wars 1…), Battle Aspect, Singular Vision, Dug In, Bivouacked (sounds like Halo Wars 1 again), Legitimate Strategy).

The soundtrack isn’t bad by any means, but I always wished to see Stephen Rippy return. I felt he had a good feel for Halo music in Halo Wars 1. At least I can still hear some of the main melodies in HW1 in the new score.

I got to Isabel Awakens (IIRC) and thought, “Yup, this will work.”

Now I know why I like Isabel’s Awakening…there’s a TON of Reach in that track. Beautiful stuff.

I think that OST is too noisy. Yeah, some tracks are good, but original HW OST was so relaxing and i like it so much.
