Its been a while now from the release of this game and the population is not great, in my opinion i believe this game should be free to play with more customization at custom matchmaking, for example, let us make Blitz custom match, let us customize the population in all game mode, let us have Forge mode so we can built our own maps, lets have other cool game mode, let us built other game modes, now with that said i am sure the population of this game will increase, and what not to say that HW2 developers start working on new leaders to bring to the game, i am sure that if the new leaders cost either $15 to $20 players would be buying this leaders, i know i would, how much is the game right now ? $25, $35? i think HW2 would benefit more in players buying new leaders. at least i am hoping to see an update with the customization i mention earlier, tell me what you think guys, thank you.

It’s a 3+ year old game, that being a console based RTS wasn’t heavily played in the first place, bankrolled by a studio who has a major game release dropping this holiday. I highly doubt we’re going to get a major update.
Games are also hardly ever free. If anything, it would be a part of game pass (it might already be there, I don’t know). The Ultimate Edition which includes the season pass is still only $20 on Amazon, with the regular edition $15. I think that’s a reasonable price.
in that case, game free and new leaders at $15, yes the game is in game pass as well, but free sounds more interesting 
just getting some tactics from Fortnite and CoD Warzone, good games with new skins often that you can buy, just saying who know, but at least the customization can be done, i dont think that is a massive update, at least the more option to customization part and add blitz mode to custom matchmaking it would be nice.

Biggest problem with that is Fortnite and CoD Warzone are Battle Royale games, built to be F2P since they make their money on a constant stream of skins/emotes. HW2 has no skins or emotes to buy and probably won’t have any in the near future. GamePass is the closest to free it’ll get and works fine for the niche RTS genre.

Free? God no, what’s the money in that? Cheaper? Yes, standard edition is still $40 on the microsoft store

I would agree that the MS store price should come down, especially considering how cheap it is at other retailers. Maybe a $5 convenience upcharge over Amazon or something, but anything over $25 is a little unreasonable.
