I noticed that in a recent post, Ske7ch said that the season pass says that they must only give us 'regular dlc for at least six months". So will we not get all dlc with the season pass? And are they legally required to release 6 months worth of what was originally scheduled since they sold it as “regular” dlc?
I don’t think legality comes into it in this situation, as we as consumers haven’t been promised this, this and this, we’ve been promised six months of this, in other words, when all is said and done, we don’t know what 6 months of content actually is, people assumed it’d be 6 additional leaders for multiplayer, one per month, and at least one set of additonal campaign missions focusing on the Banished’s perspective.
The latter of the two will be a collaboration with Blur (I hope) and therefore will be happening (again, I hope). but the former could be affected by the delay with ‘Colony’ though again, we have no way of knowing for sure, because 343 hasn’t told us the explicit details of what the season pass entails, unless I missed something.
I read it as there will be another season pass maybe near the end of this year or next year depending on if they are still making money on this game or not.
My understanding of it is that we will get 6 monthly updates. Any DLC beyond that will not be included in the season pass, not have a set deadline, and may or may not be free content.
yeah basically we will get the 6 months of content or 6 months equivalent if a drop is delayed. After that there may or may not be new content and it won’t be covered under the season pass.
