Hi guys, Sorry to bother you, I know that there were topics with the same subject but some are locked and I just wanted to get some help. I lost my saves in halo wars 2, I can’t load any of my saves as they disappeared. My total time played is out of sync and it won’t show my favourite leader. However, I still have the skulls, my rank. I can play the missions I already played earlier but there is no option to continue the campaign ( it will appear only if I start a new mission). Is there a way to fix it ? I tried resetting the Xbox but the result was the same. Thank you in advance and sorry again.
My total time played, favorite leader, and campaign log progress have been out of whack since June. I gave up hope that it will ever be fixed. There have been times that the last few cinematics have been locked to me, even though I have clearly finished the campaign more than once. I have found campaign logs in Operation Spearbreaker, only to find the next time I logged on, that it says I never found them. The only way to fix progress and logs and such is to play the missions again. And my experience is that your time played will never be accurate again. As for continuing the campaign, my only advice is play the last mission available to you again, and be sure to hit “continue” to move on to the next mission when you’re done.
I wish I had better news, but this is one area where they really drop the ball in HW2.

The same thing happened to me just this week. I had two saved games from september but when I went play it again last weekend after the latest update, they and all my progress were gone. They had actually vanished just before said update and I had hoped it was a temporary bug but that was not the case. My unlocked skulls, downloaded leaders, service record, and phoenix logs from the first campaign were still there but everything else was gone or locked away. I thought starting a new campaign would work but each time I save and turn my console off, I come back to find all my progress just vanished into thin air. I’m considering uninstalling then reinstalling the game to see if that will fix things but I’m worried about what will happen to all my DLC. I can only hope that 343 will fix the problem soon as I did enjoy the game but this a serious problem.
A recent update came out this week that seems to have finally fixed the saving issue. Has anyone else besides me been able to save their games again?

I know. I went to play it my Xbox One earlier today and found all my new saves gone & all my skulls locked. I hate to say it but 343 & Creative Assembly are clearly not taking this problem seriously. What I especially hate about this is that I didn’t want to jump on the 343 Hate Train but I really don’t have a choice now; they really screwed up on this one.
I just lost mine this morning so new patch didn’t fix it.
I almost forgot this post existed. I’m on so many of these “Halo Wars 2 missing saves” posts that it’s easy to lose track. I STILL don’t get why 343 seems more focused on “balance issues” and less on actually fixing this problem.
I know this post is a little old, but this happened to me 4 times this week. I stopped playing until my saves and stats are back. Very frustrating.
