HALO WARS 2 NOT RUNNING

After the recent update Halo Wars 2, I am unable to run Halo Wars 2 as the window opens but then closes immediately after. Halo Wars Definitive Edition works perfectly fine, it’s just Halo Wars 2.

I was able to play the game previously however it all seems to have messed up after the update

Any suggestions please?

I have the exact same except 1050 Ti - This shouldn’t be a problem, Halo Wars Definitive Edition runs perfectly…

I’m having the same issue…

Good to see I’m not the only one that was working fine then after update is having issues. Most seem to be able to play a game before it crashes. Mine crashes about 10 mins in a game… (Lost like 5 games… before I decided Its them). I’m sure they will fix it, only issue being they are Microsoft… they are not going anywhere…

Havent played on xbox much, guess ill just do that, or play Civ 6 this weekend.

I was playing it fine before the update, and now it freezes on the halo wars 2 screen (after i hit any button to continue) My gamer tag is XGbriel2010X, I am playing on PC, and I am in Texas so what ever region that fits under. I would really like to play again or at least get my money back so i can get it for Xbox.

If you bought it on PC, you already own it for Xbox, it’s one of the new Play Anywhere games soyou only have to buy it once.

Has anyone found a work around or at least know if 343i are doing something? Clearly it has something to do with the patch due to me being able to play it before… Managed to play one mission for £65… not happy.
