There seems to be an issue with the multiplayer game play on PC. the frame rate in game drops to extremely low levels around 10 FPS and also has about a 100 ms delay.
the issue is not on my end i have a computer with a gtx 980 GPU an fx 8350 CPU and 16 GB of ram and fast internet. the game runs fine in campaign and local games vs AI. the error only happens in multiplayer games of all types.
Pretty much. Since day 1.
That and disconnects.
Jup same here. I wanted to test Blitz first and it turns out the game was lagging like crazy. I have only a GTX 760 so I first thought it was my GPU. But yeah, as it turns out the campaign runs perfectly fine. Pls fix.
I haven’t gotten the low FPS in Blitz, but it’s been in about 1/3 my regular mode games. Its clearly some kind of network issue.
The issue is known by the devs. They are working on it.
I’ve had the same issues, my spec is the same as OP, local games fine, everything maxed, multiplayer unplayable or drops within 1min. So far I’ve finished just 2 games. Looks like server issues to me. I have played coop vs ai with a friend (both UK based) successfully but I’m rather disappointed.
I am having the same issues. I’m running a 980TI and 6600K and getting around 10-15 fps in multiplayer and perfect fps in campaign. I tried troubleshooting and it seems that multiplayer is not causing my power usage to go up, meaning my game is using the same power it would in the menu. It works fine in AI versus and campaign.
Im playing on console and the game at this point is almost unplayable. MP drops 1/3 games not even joking. This has gotta be fixed because my 80 dollar pre order has thus far been a bad investment.
Scratch that played 3 times today and have been dropped 3 out of 3…
The same with my game. it also crashes very often in multiplayer and the lag in 2v2 is like you click and wait 7 seconds for a reaction.
yup. same here. running a 6700k cpu, gtx1070 gpu and 16gig RAM with 100MB/s internet. Its definitely a Halo Wars 2 issue, not a PC issue.
Almost everyone has the dc/desync/crash problems on PC. Someone here in the forum mentioned that they sayd patch may come today for XBox and i guess later this week for PC. It’s supposed to fix all of this nonsense.
