with halo wars 2 being on pc and will be a cross platform game do u think we will see mods on the Xbox One version and if so what would like to see
Possibly, I’m hoping for the ability to use windows 10 to create a new map, not an editor but a NEW map.

It’s very likely that we’ll see mods for Halo Wars 2 on PC. As for the Xbox One, not very likely.

I don’t think we’ll see mods on the Xbox one but there’s bound to be mods for PC, pretty much any game on PC has been modded at some point
I don’t think the PC version of the game is very mod-friendly, unfortunately. Having a game that’s purposely built to support mods (Skyrim, Fallout 4, Halo Custom Edition, etc.) is a godsend on PC, and exponentially increases a game’s longevity. I mean, let’s specifically look at Skyrim. That game is 6 years old, but still thriving today due to its large modding scene. Players are creating new worlds and expansions for the game, or creating a ton of silly stuff, and due to that, people are still playing the game years later. Why? Because no matter what, there will always be a way for them to have a new experience, so there’s always a reason to come back to the game.
I’d be surprised if I’ll be able to still find a match in Halo Wars 2 by the end of the year. If there were mod support, the amount of things people would create would be endless.
