Hello I’m 377 and I hope this topic is in the right area. Anyways I downloaded halo wars 2 last night. and when the main menu loaded up I saw a spartan that had awesome armor! It looked like the halo 3 master chief armor. Do you think 343 will put this armor in halo 5? I hope so it looks so cool and nostalgic

Masters Chiefs armor form halo 2 and halo 3 is actually in the halo 5 art book as armor. Alongside armor that had come out with previous updates
Kind of looks like the armor that John 117 (Master Chief), uses in Halo Fall of Reach.
Maybe 343i will put the armor in and you can get it early as a Halo Wars 2 pre-order bonus. If they put the armor in at all, it would be awesome.

I have a theory about this “new” armor. In first place we saw an armor that is a mix of the helmets of halo 2-3, 1. And the chest i think is a mix of the red team and the chest of halo 2-3. Im thinking if this armor could be the Mark VII. Cause as we now, at the end of halo 5 the chiefs armor looks damage and with the visor broken. I hope this could be the master chief armor in the future halo 6. What you think ?

MK 7 is already taken by Naomi. Decimator is based off MK 7 if you want a rough idea of how it looks, or you can just google it. Don’t forget, the spirit of fire has been adrift for a LONG time, and I doubt it’d have the same nanobots that whatever ship MC was on with cortana, so I think it’s just ANOTHER reimagination of MK 4 since there was no way they could’ve picked up new armor.
That would be Mark 4 armor, an armor issued to the Spartans during the time of Halo Wars(2525-2551 I believe), extremely outdated, but rugged and cool none-the-less.
I believe I saw a render of it for Halo 5 once, though I am not 100% on that, so do not take my word for it.
True fans of Halo would notice something, It isn’t 100% Mark VI. The mouth part of the helmet is part of the Mark IV Armor. It is part Mark VI and Mark IV. Also, if they added that armor into the game, oh boy. That’d be the only armor I would wear.
I will need to look at this armor as I played halo wars 2 and didn’t notice it. I’ll keep my eye out

hey guys. sorry to burst all of yall bubble of thinking this is new armor but its just Mark 6 with a Mark 4 helmet. its not Mark 7 or Mark 4. hell, the helmet is most likely mark 6 too. the real question is who is this, why do the have Mark 6 armor, and why did 343 put them in?

We’ve know that that is Douglas-042 for about a month now, and that is not Mk VI with a Mk IV helmet. It is a hybrid set created by using assets from the GEN2 armor on the Ark after Douglas’ armor was broken by Atriox after their first encounter. So yeah, sorry to burst bubble.
Also, it won’t be added to Halo 5, as the UNSC and the Infinity don’t know about Red Team’s survival.
