Halo Wars 2 - Game Freezes but can still hear game

So I have an issue.

When I’m playing the game (Only tried campaign so far) my game will completely freeze, and in some cases, close after freezing.
Sometimes it freezes but I can still do stuff in game, like, I can hear my units moving when I click around. But of course, the screens frozen.

I’ve got the latest Nvidia drivers installed, and I never had this issue when I played previously, so I have no idea what it is.

My specs are as follows -

Motherboard: GA-X79-UD3
CPU: Intel Core i7-4930k
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Red 16GB @ 1600Mhz
Video Card(s): Nvidia MSi GTX 780Ti 3GB
SSD: Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB x2
HDD: Seagate 500GB / 2TB WD Black
OS: Windows 10 64Bit

Any help would be great!

Just tested it on Skirmish too, also freezes in there.

same here. Black screen after the intro and can’t get pass it. Reinstall, video setting changes have not helped. Can’t believe this has not been sorted yet. I paid £50 and for this.

It’s really crappy. I’ve never had this issue until now. My specs are still exactly the same.

Pretty annoyed I’ve paid £50 for a game I can’t play.

I’ve been having same issue too, but I’ve found that pressing alt tab unfreezes the game for a couple of seconds at a time. Its not a fix but can help you if you’re in a tight spot. I was able to get it to fix the issue for the rest of the match but encountered the problem again in the next round.
