06/20/2020. Upon downloading Halo Wars 2 from the xbox game pass for pc i picked up the campaign where i left off. going into starting the second mission i get the brief and mission details and then i hit A to continue and my screen immediately goes black and then crashes to desktop. i’ve checked my drivers and everything is fine, uninstalled and reinstalled all to no avail. i tried playing a multiplayer match and finished no problem and then played a versus AI match and finished that fine as well, its only the campaign that’s messed up any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have the the almost exact same problem. I manage to get as far as starting up a campaign level and get the briefing, but the second it starts to load the level it just closes out. I’ve tried rebooting and reinstalling but it’s not working.
