Ok after this most recent patch, I keep getting a notification that “Your NVIDIA Graphics Driver is out of date. Your version is 369.09, you need at least 378.66 please update before continuing” does anyone know where I can go to fix this without having to spend money or something? and if I don’t update will I be missing out on anything or something? I’m not sure
The issue is just as it says, the software for your graphics card is out of date and needs to be updated. You can fine the latest updates for your graphics on nVidia’s website. Updates will bring bug fixes, stability and sometimes additional features. There’s usually a change log to tell you what was updated

thnx
Okay so I’m having a similar problems. When I start Halo Wars 2 I get the message:
Graphics Drivers Out Of Date!
Your AMD Graphics Driver is out of date!
Your version is: ‘15.201.1101.0’, you need at least ‘16.50’.
How do I fix this?
I have AMD Radeon Graphics (whatever this is?). Only know this as there is a sticker on my laptop that says this.
right click your desktop it should say something lke AMD catalyst or whatever its called click it and top commands I think its support their should be check for update. if not go to www.amd.com and click support and drivers and go from there as to inputing your EXACt or CLOSE specs of your PC and it should do the rest. everything runs more smooth after updates such as those

It does the same thing for me. Go to control panel -> Devices and then scroll down and click device manager.
I bet you have two display adapters listed under “Display Adapters”, the other is probably “Intel Something”. Nothing wrong with this, it is for power management, one is for when you browse the internet and the other is a workhorse for gaming, etc.
I believe what is happening is that it is finding the driver of the “intel” one by mistake, and saying you need to update to the “AMD” one.
If I just click OK the game runs fine, I think it is a bug. Incidentally if I do update to 17+ (which is current, not 16.5), then the game crashes.
So if it runs by clicking OK, I would just stop there until they patch the game more.
Hope this helps.
Yeah, so I just downloaded Halo wars 2 and it says the same thing “AMD Driver needs to be updated to 16.50” Well when I go to my Devices, And then I go to the Display adapters, Underneath there is only a “AMD Radeon™ R5 Graphics” I click on that then I go to “Driver” Then it says version 15.201.1101.0 then I look for the Update driver and I do what it says to do “Look it up on windows and online” Or “Browse my computer for driver update” Please help me I really want to play this awesome game.

You could try letting Windows search for it, otherwise have a look here for your graphics and you should be able to download the latest version

When I start Halo Wars 2, downloaded on 5/29/2017, I see a message:
Graphics Drivers Out Of Date!
Your NVIDIA Graphics Driver is out of date!
You need at least: ‘378.66’.
Please update before continuing.
But when I check my NVIDIA Control Panel and NVIDIA GeForce Experience, both of them tell me I have version 382.33, and no later version is available when I check for updates.

exact same thing here. I just played on anyway without an issue.
Please don’t revive old topics, thanks.
