With the recent Xbox Game Pass on PC release, i finally instaled Halo Wars 2,the problem is after i get to open the game and press start, when the game says “Downloading Data” the game Just closes itself but no error Window or anything like that
My friend is having the same issue as you. You are not alone.
I’m having the same issue as well. Sometimes I manage to get past the “Downloading Data” and then freezes and then closes.
Out of curiosity I went and downloaded Halo Wars 2 Demo from Microsoft store and was able to play with no crashing. I did notice that for the Demo it had to download 16+Gb where Halo Wars 2 from the Microsoft store or Xbox (Beta) is only a few hundred Mbs. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
