I play Halo Wars 2 on my laptop through Game Pass and a couple of days ago I bought the Spartan Jerome DLC on the Microsoft store on my laptop. It says in both the Xbox app and Microsoft store that I own the product and no download is needed but whenever I go to the game the commander is still locked, saying I have to purchase it. Since having this problem, I have restarted my laptop multiple times, updated to the latest software windows has to offer, and uninstalled/reinstalled the game. Earlier, I went on my Xbox and had no problems with accessing the commander there so I knew that I formally owned the DLC pack, and about a month ago I could use the free DLC commander Sergeant Forge on my laptop until one day the game locked him. Not sure if a patch caused this problem or if its related to how I don’t actually own the game and just “rent” it on Game Pass, causing the DLC not to recognize the game? I am pretty sure the problem is not on my end and I have been in contact with an Xbox support employee who told me to contact the game developer. If this is not the right place to ask for help then who should I contact? If any further details are needed just reply to this and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
