Looks really cool. Glad they decided to go with the Flood.
No Space Bionicles are better. (Story wise The Flood make more sense though.)
That looks awesome. Tons of more concept art on his profile too. I have to say though the Flood was the better way to go. We haven’t seen them since 2007 and this was a grand return. Plus having the Flood in Firefight is just perfect.
I wish there was both, I’d be cool if there’d be three different factions, but the balance…
I’m glad they took the Flood, not only for the nostalgia, but because it was a Banished campaing and you can see on these concepts the campaing would’ve been mostly UNSC, though it seems we would have seen an alliance between UNSC and the Banished.
Although I’m happy with the flood, seeing this concept art really makes me wonder how good prometheans would have been to fight in HW2.

The ATN concept arts strongly suggested that an alliance between UNSC and the Banished was formed in fighting the Flood. Guess that was only for the firefight mode.
Perhaps this means 343 was thinking of having Cortana aware of the Ark location and sent forces there or will in the future seeing as it is cut content.

Agreed actually! I would’ve loved to see this instead of Spearbreaker.
I have to say often though that I refuse to acknowledge Spearbreaker as a substantial piece of DLC compared to something like ATN.
It’s two missions with (one?) new enemy and It’s ODST’s which is cool, but still doesn’t blow my mind.
If this was another ATN but with Prometheans, oh!

Why not both? I want it all! Also would be neat to see if the sentinels would join the Prometheans or side against them like Exuberant Witness did on her installation.
Anyway the lore desperately needs more Promethean vehicles. It was pretty lame when the soldiers just stole other species’ vehicles in Halo 5. I imagine that the Promethean tank is like the light tank from Tron, and their scouts could be similar to the lightcycles as well. So many opportunities to grow the lore in the actual games instead of novels. I hope this cut content actually does come out one day.

Huge missed opportunity to flesh out the Prometheans. As it stands only five variants, a handful of weapons and gadgets, and a single vehicle exists. We need more.
Also we could’ve had the Guardian Sentinel brought back into the canon. God -Yoink!-.
