Is anybody else having an issue with booting up Halo Wars 2? When it boots up it gets to the home screen freezes and then a few seconds later will either crash or unfreeze and then is usable for a little bit of time and then may crash mid-game. I have three friends that play it, all having the same issue on Xbox.

Just played on Xbox last night HW2 and didn’t have any issues. I did get a little bit of freezing/lag in a Skirmish, but that was it.
It’s so annoying
I get the same thing every time I start the game. Sometimes it’ll crash once or twice but once I actually start playing it doesn’t do it anymore. Now the audio and video can be a little buggy at times during the cut scenes.
update. Putting the game in the internal hard instead of an external really seems to help
since I got the xbox seriesX the game just freeze/crashes all time. But it works fine on my xbox one no crashes please fix on new consoles
Just n update im on the series x and the game still crashes while im in the midle of a game
What makes this soooooo annoying is that it will crash while you’re playing and it still takes points away from you I am starting to hate this game for this. I just played a game where we were winning and crassssssshhhh I’m knocked out of a match and lost points extremely stupid when I didn’t lose the game crashed pure BS…

I think they should make that $49.99 to $9.99, it’s not worth buying it, They should lower that price and stay forever due to many issue services. I finally came back and halo wars 2 is now bad. Why did I buy this and why would anyone buy a game that freezes every 2 or more games, I just want to play it and not encounter some odd connection issue.
This game’s a joke can’t go 4-5 matches without it crashing or going out of sync and xp robbed off you. Fix the bugs you turkey’s
Yep was just playing and it froze and crashed. It does it about every 10 th game. And of course takes your exp. sucks
My game won’t load act 3 the halo. I have the disc I played it on game pass and on my mobile same problem across the board
This is still an issue. 4/10 games crash and it’s rather tiring. I love the game, but if it continues I may look for an alternative
