Would also love to see Red Team teaming up with Blue Team. I feel that they deserve to come back. After all, it was Halo Wars 2 that shifted the tide of the art-style into the hybrid form we know today.

Not sure of those odds. They did say Halo Wars 2 will connect with Halo Infinite (back when they called it Halo 6) but it seems less likely nowadays. But hey, one thing I learned is anything can happen if the creative direction calls for it so just keep an open mind.

Likely some as H5g & HW2 endings were tied together, what likely lessens the amount is the timejump that is present given Infinite supposedly begins relatively long time after the events of aforementioned games.
It will more than likely be connected. Halo Wars 2 ending did show anders on a Halo Ring or looking at one.
