Hey Liam -

Just so you know, I’ve removed your post here for a couple reasons. But off the bat, other than post removal, no other moderation action is happening here, no bans or warnings okay?

So here’s the deal. While we’re kind of looking the other way with HW2 modding and the like, ultimately, it’s not an official thing. As a result, posting here on the official Halo forums is not something we can support or allow.

A couple of the reasons here:

  1. While it’s an ambiguous gray area and we are playing the “la la you can’t see me” game, there’s always a risk of running afoul of Xbox Live Terms of Service. That’s not something we ever want to encourage, even passively.

  2. There’s always a risk of your game breaking. We don’t want someone new to the game to show up and see this, and go, “Gee that looks cool, I’ma try it!” and then be in some trouble.

I can’t tell you where to post it, but I can tell you that we simply can’t have it here.
