Halo Wars: Definitive Edition has been a huge success on Steam, selling around 50,000 copies on Valve’s gaming platform. This has prompted Microsoft to rethink their Windows 10 Store Exclusivity model, which forced games to be UWP apps and forces gamers to use the badly designed Windows 10 Storefront.
Hopefully Microsoft will release Halo Wars 2 onto steam and allow cross-play between Windows Store players and Steam players, how likely do you guys think this is to happen and would you like to see it being done?

the only nice thing with windows store is the hacker realm is literally non existant which is the nice thing… im sure there is still some desperate people but that’s why windows store has so many issues if you or ANYONE even goes as far as to change the ownership/or authority to the windowsapps folder your entire windows store and windows games just becomes non-workable I HATE it… I did that once to try to add the halo wars 2.exe to my intel turbo boost 3.0 app list and I had to REINSTALL windows just to even run a game off the windows store anymore and then eventually I couldn’t even open it… on Steam they will have a GOOD hacker protection not the best but also they wouldn’t have to go through so many verification and authorization scenarios like they do now currently with patches they claim… I mean unless they make it cross-play but then again they can temporary disable that cross play on VS AI mode or firefight or unranked mode which is all it should be since theirs critics who are scared of a PC player which is debateable to good and bad… but if they do that then they can at least release a patch through steam and just have the windows one released whenever its finished so no one is kept waiting and anxious and requesting refunds which is the dumbest thing ever.
I wouldn´t dislike if they take HW2 to Steam, but only if they make it cross-play with Windows 10 edition and also if they DO NOT launch Halo 6 on Steam in a future. Halo must be kept at home.
Please I begging 343 to hopefully release Halo Wars 2 on Steam!!! i buy most of my PC Games on that app not windows 10 ever, i really did not in joy that console version because it was not easy controls for me, even when W10 had it on PC i only stick to Steam all the time. Doing this since Halo Master Chief Collection the game is going on there do us one more favor and make my life easier by putting the same for HW2 it would make my life set with all the halo games this is the last shot from Angular’s last Hope please!!! 343 Industries!!!
