This started happening about a few days ago.
When I launch halo wars 2, it goes through the title sequences, and takes me to the starter screen where it says “Press any key to continue”.
When I press anything it freezes. I can resize the window, minimize it, do whatever I want, it just stays stuck on the “Press any key to continue” screen on the moment right after I pressed it.
If I leave the window open for a while, it updates about a frame per 3 minutes. One of the frames had the “You have been connected to online services” tooltip in the top right, but nothing changed, still frozen after 10 minutes.
The only interfering program that I have on that I can think of is the GeForce Experience overlay, but I turned that off and it still does the same thing.
