Hi there Members at 343!
Hello my name is Tomcat7521 ( or Jack) and i am here to give you the best possible feedback i can give you!
First off ill start with the controls.
I liked the original controls (The first beta) and the more updated controls. Both were easy to learn and to explain to others if needed.
Gammeplay (Blitz)
I found blitz to be rather fun and very well balanced in general. But some units like the Default Wraith, Banshee, Marauder, Scorpion and hornet to be over priced for what you actually get out of them on the battlefield. Also the Vulture is very weak at times. I liked the idea of the scarab having a timer but it needs maybe a additional 10 seconds or so because of how slow it can be. Additionaly there needs to be more options in the “Starting army” section. When loading into a game oftenly i cannot choose a leader as it auto sellects it for me which can be annoying. Maybe have a “Y” button to quickly sellect your favourite leader in the menu too?
Connection.
The connection is very good at times but i am often kicked from games which can be very fustrating other than that i have no problems with connection.
Graphics and art.
I must say the new art style is very very good, with a mix of the “old” and “new” and i think everyone else must agree. The graphics look fantastic but some rocks look very sharp or box like unless that is intended. The forerunner lights/colours could have more of a mix instead of just blue, try adding orange or yellow and different shades of grey to the metal.
Sounds and music.
The new soundtracks are beautiful and improvment to Halo 4 and 5. Im not saying they were rubbish but it didnt suite Halo. Halo was more drums, string and Choirs. The sound teams deserve a well done they sound very Halo like and different. Some dialoge like grunts/Marines on the radio can be a little annoying as they are very loud.
I wont be covering maps as we have not see enough to review but make sure there is a varierty like snow and sand.
Over all i am very excited for the full game and i enjoy it alot hopefully Halo 6 or the next Halo can learn from Halo wars 2 to insure a secure Fan base and make a large comeback in the gameing industry.
