Everyone that participated in the Halo 5 beta got an exclusive badge.
With that said, anyone that participated in the Halo Wars 2 beta should get a badge!

I’ve actually been thinking about this and I’d be pretty surprised if they didn’t, it just wouldn’t make sense after doing it for guardians.
It would be cool if they also made badges for the H3 and Reach betas, but I doubt they have that data. I believe it’s safe to assume a badge is coming for HW2, and if not at least I have a warm sweater for my avatar.

Agreed. Official game testers actually get paid for testing a game. Since we are technically working for the Halo Wars 2 game devolopers/publisher it would actually be greatly appreciated to be rewarded with some form of payment/appreciation that we can show off or utilize, instead of just an overated thank you. And like it has already been said, the Halo 5 beta offered the same thing, so why should anything less be expected. Please show some consistency or offer us something more.

I think so too. For a beta it seems pretty far out for it to be released 7 months before the game’s release date.
- [Then again, to get all the updates/patches applied to the finalized code of the disc version of HW2, a beta offered 7 months before the HW2 release date probably is necessary]

I think the actual issue is that gamers have become spoiled by the trend of developers releasing demos for a game before that game’s launch & calling it a beta and now younger/newer gamers expect all betas to have no issues in them

I like the idea of finding out the issues in betas. It’s like i would rather encounter them in the beta, no matter how frustrating they are, then in the actual game. I wish more games would do betas. I mean look at MC collection, because of so many bugs at release no one really played it for a while and still hurt it badly.

Agreed. Like Halo 4, MCC intentionally didn’t have a beta because 343 rushed out that game for delivery & claimed they knew what they were doing & that they didn’t need a beta. I believe All multiplayer games should have a beta just because anything can go wrong when the internet, (online gaming), is added to it. In the MCC’s case, it was simply ridiculous to think that game wouldn’t need a beta with as complex as it was (4 games in 1). If anything that game needed multiple betas & alphas. That push for the Holiday sales is what screwed that game over. R.I.P. Halo MCC. You died too you young
